Convert DXF to JWW for Jw_cad
Need to send a drawing to a Japanese partner who uses Jw_cad? Convert your DXF (R12–2018) to a .jww file. Files are processed in this browser and never uploaded.

or click to choose (.dxf, several at once)
The written JWW is read back to show what Jw_cad will display. Please check it in Jw_cad before use.
Features
- Real size kept: DXF units (mm, cm, m, inch) are read; the drawing is placed on Jw_cad paper at a scale that fits, or the scale you choose.
- Layers with names: DXF layers become named Jw_cad layers (16 groups × 16 layers).
- Blocks: Blocks stay Jw_cad blocks (rotated and mirrored too); arrays and non-uniform scales are exploded.
- Japanese text: Text keeps its position, height, angle and width using Jw_cad’s character rules.
- Dimensions, leaders, hatches, polylines and splines are exploded to lines, arcs, text and fills; fills keep their exact color.
- Colors, widths and line types map to the nearest Jw_cad pen, a per-object line width (1/100 mm) and solid / dotted / chain line types.
- Verified: The JWW is read back and converted to DXF again in our tests: line and arc lengths, points and texts match the original DXF.
Questions and answers
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. Everything runs in your browser.
- How is the scale chosen?
- Automatically, the scale that fits the drawing on the chosen paper; or the scale you pick. Real sizes stay the same at any scale.
